May 2010
Someone jumped off the 86th floor of the Empire State Building and survived with only a broken hip.
But then I started to get anxious and the realist in me started invading these dreams.
I can’t think of New York without thinking about how expensive and big it is.
I can’t think of Seattle or Portland without thinking how full of hipsters both those places are….
This also made me scared of how expensive/big NYC is so I did a blog post on all the free/cheap things I want to see and do in New York:
Graduate December 2010 (age 25).
Work like a dog from December 2010 to December 2011 and save save save.
Live and work in the states from December 2011 to December 2012. (age 27).
Work like a dog from December 2012 to July 2014 and save save save.
Live and work in Britain from July 2014 to July 2016 (age 30).
Come back to NZ and have babies.
Hrmmm… when you put it like that it seems more like SCARY FUTURE rather than exciting opportunities. Doesn’t give me much time to get good in any career or save for a house if I’m off frolicking around the world. Hmmm.
It’s 6.41pm on Saturday.
I’ve got an 45% assignment due on Wednesday, and a video worth 60% due on Thursday.
I had editing time booked from 5pm but I’m at home reblogging images relating to procastination.
Wow.
